Paediatric Regional Anaesthesia

Paediatric regional anaesthesia is gaining popularity since the introduction of the paediatric plan A blocks. In this workshop you will get practical teaching by our expert faculty and plenty of hands-on scanning opportunities for all the paediatric plan A blocks. We will aim to put you in groups of similar experience to tailor the teaching accordingly.

TIVA for TOTS

A comprehensive session covering many aspects of TIVA use in children including modelling; before you start; mixing and the role of remifentanil; when, were and why TIVA, plus ‘how we do it’ in… airways, spines, eyes, neonates, MRI and endoscopy, led by a team of seasoned experts.

Processed EEG in Paediatric Anaesthesia Symposium

This symposium will provide a comprehensive review of processed EEG monitoring in and their application to paediatric anaesthesia. This will cover the underlying principles, the practicalities of pEEG monitoring in different ages and the clinical interpretation and utilisation of these devices.

Advanced Airway Management

A condensed version of the highly successful advanced paediatric airway course covering difficult paediatric airways, human factors in airway management, tracheostomy troubleshooting and hands on experience of advanced airway management equipment and techniques.
